The Staff Selection Committee (herein SSC) has released an official 56 page notification for the recruitment of employees for Multi-tasking posts in SSC (tentatively 8000 vacancies). The official notification has been released by SSC on 5th February 2021. There is a fixed salary range from 18,000 – 22,000/ per month for the candidate which will tend to increase by 20% approximately after the implementation of the 7th pay commission.
SSC mainly recruits candidates for the post of Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretary Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant (PA), Sorting Assistant (SA) and Data Entry Operator (DEO).
Basic Qualifications:
Educational Qualification: The basic educational qualification for any candidate who applies for the MTS post would be a pass in Matriculation or Equivalent examination at the time of applying for the examination.
Age Limit: The candidates need to be not less than 18 years of age and not more than 25 years of age when applying for this post as on 2.1.1996. However there are relaxations of age limit for various reserve category candidates.
Examination Pattern:
The candidates need to pass 2 levels of examinations for them to get through
Tier 1 Examination: This would a computer based examination.
